Contact learndirect in seven languages
Since September 2003, speakers of Punjabi, Sylheti and Somali have been able to access the learndirect national learning advice service in their own languages.
Advice on hundreds of thousands of courses, as well as careers guidance, is now available to speakers of Urdu and Gujarati. It uses dedicated advisers who offer an equivalent service to that provided by the English language learndirect advice service, but in the chosen tongue of the users.
There is a different direct telephone number for each language. As well as advisers offering information and advice, the service is supported by a Community Liaison Coordinator, who is available to visit local community networks and forums to promote the service.
